Just as Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS, as conformity to God’s will and purpose—so it is with you also. So understand that it is the people who live by faith with confidence in the power and goodness of God who are the true sons of Abraham. (Gal 3:6-7)
Know most assuredly that now in Christ, He is our salvation, our sanctification, our justification, our redemption, our righteousness.
The world, and sadly even those in Christ, have often striven under the guilt of their sin to redeem themselves, striving to make things right, to receive acceptance, and to find the desires of their heart—peace, joy, love, and hope.
In Christ, God has already recreated you. It is by faith in God's power that you now see yourself as He does, as having a new nature, as His reborn child.
Doing has never been a pathway to righteousness nor was it meant to be. You have, through Christ, obtained a right standing with God. You have a new position, not attained by anything other than faith in what He has already done.
All you think, say, and do stems from who you now are—your faith in what God has made you through His love.
Through faith your mind will be renewed with an ever-increasing depth of understanding as to what Christ accomplished on the cross for you. Your walk in the flesh will be transformed as a natural outpouring.
Live out your walk with Christ through the joy of being, no longer in a state of becoming.
Today, read Galatians.
