48 - Renewing The Mind

God's Word is a profound truth, almost beyond belief, that He communicates directly with us. Not only does He speak to us, but He also imparts wonderful and affirming messages about who we are in Him. Paul the Apostle reminds us that anyone in Christ is a new creation; the old has gone, and the new has come. This transformative message comes from God Himself. He declares that we are new creations in His Son, Jesus Christ, urging us to no longer view ourselves or others from a merely human perspective. Instead, God sees us through His divine lens, as beings recreated in true righteousness and holiness. He emphasizes that these truths are what renew our minds, shifting our self-perception from the old to the new. This renewal transforms us from one degree of glory to another. God has made us holy and now dwells within us through the Holy Spirit, alongside His beloved Son, making their home with us. As we walk by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us, our journey in the flesh is transformed. Our minds are set on our new identity in Christ, who God has made us to be. The Creator of all things tells you: you are new. Believe in the words of the Almighty.
