02 - In Christ Our Passion

I pray we in Christ continue to grow in our understanding of who we now are and what we have received from Him. Having our minds enlightened, with what He continually reveals to us, the overall arching concepts, thoughts, wisdom, and understanding. May it become a burning passion in our hearts, overwhelming, uncontainable, and welling to overflowing. May it change how we view ourselves, our fellow Christians, and unbelievers alike.

Let us draw closer to the Creator, His plan, experiencing its fulfillment in our lives as New Creations in Christ. To grasp on a deep and personal level the magnitude of what Christ has done for us, understanding both what has come and what has gone. To move closer to our aim of being filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

I hope we all strive to be a part of building one another up in Christ, growing spiritually, and moving on to far grander attitudes and perspectives.

To realize and release a mindset we have continued to hold onto that which was before the resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord.

May we now adopt a leveling attitude freeing us from a mindset of judgment and arrogance. Transcending us from the transient, the fleeting, the superficial, the ordinary, and the mundane day-to-day walk in the flesh.

We live by faith in the Son of God, what He has spoken to us, an expanded penetrating view of us, the truth.

Let us move closer to dispelling the lies that have taken root and grown in our minds. The lies we have watered and tended to. Lies we and this world have perpetuated, fueled by the propaganda all around us, this creation of man. What we can see and touch, inanimate and lifeless, void of power, yet what we rely on to bring us so much.

Let us understand that what we now possess, who we are in Christ, far exceeds lifetimes of striving according to the pattern of this world to achieve and become.

Let us take hold of the possibility of coming to a realization, opening our eyes, dispelling illusions, and fulfilling the desires we hold within our hearts.
