As followers of Christ we exist within a new reality, as a new creation, a position seated with Christ in the heavenly realms, in Christ and Christ living in us, and our walk in the body, how that spiritual reality plays itself out in our lives. As we progressively awaken to the spiritual consciousness of who we are in Christ the more our walk in the body transforms to reflect that reality. Our faith grows, the acknowledgement and belief in what God says in light of what Christ accomplished on the cross, recreating us. A faith blossoming into a life expressing itself through love.

We have a position in Christ from which contentment flows. A contentment that comes from possessing all in Christ, all spiritual blessings, all we need for life and godliness. No longer striving in the pattern of this world, a rat race of achieving and acquiring, holding tightly to an identity based on the superficial and transient. But resting in a calm, quiet, spiritual reality of acknowledgment and acceptance. A truth setting us free to be present. A mind enlightened to the new life we have been brought into and now fully possess.

In Christ you are released from the past having been washed clean, redeemed, reconciled and set free. To be present in the moment as a New Creation, possessing a firm and immovable position before God as His holy saint, priest and beloved child. Setting your hope on what is laid out before you, the continued transformation of your walk by the power of God from one degree of glory to another and your eternal heavenly home which awaits you. This is your true and glorious future that transcends the world.

Those who believe in God understand that when they observe His creation, and marvel at the beauty of all He has made, they are clearly seeing His invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, Romans 1:20 Created in His image, their eternal heart, soul, mind and spirit are deeply moved. In like manner, unbelievers have a similar spiritually moving experience when they are awestruck by the beauty of nature. A testament to a universal internal longing to connect with God, our loving Heavenly Father.

We plant within the reality of who we are in Christ, spiritually recreated Holy, Righteous, and Pure, Christ living in us. We water these seeds daily by affirming our new position. Acknowledging who we are in all we think, say, and do. And God, who alone causes the growth, will transform our walk to align with the New. As it says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

The Christian walk is not a matter of rules and regulations, attaining to a self-righteousness, but rather it is faith, who we now are in Christ, what we have been brought into, and the wisdom and understanding of a new eternal reality expressing itself through love. An overflow of a heart resting in the righteousness we now are in Christ, from Him and by Him.

We have a reality in Christ which transcends mere feelings. Striving to do good in order to feel good or avoiding what is bad and feeling bad. By grace we possess a spiritual reality, a righteousness from God beyond ticking boxes. A who I am reality that rests on the foundation of what God through Christ has accomplished and continues to accomplish in and through us.

God gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. That just as God brought us through Christ from death to life we might through faith in Him know that no matter where we are in ou
